Position Type: Part-Time (20-25 hrs/week to start)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and dependable Coffee Production & Delivery Assistant to join our team. This role combines hands-on coffee production with logistical support, ensuring the smooth operation of our roastery and the timely delivery of our products to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Packaging & Labeling:
- Weigh and bag roasted coffee beans for wholesale and retail orders
 - Apply labels and ensure packaging meets company standards
 - Prepare and box wholesale orders for delivery, operating machinery as needed
 
Coffee Production Support:
- Assist in roasting coffee beans under the guidance of the head roaster
 - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the roasting area, including cleaning machines and workspaces on a rotating basis
 
Delivery & Logistics:
- Deliver coffee to wholesale and retail clients within the New Orleans metro area
 - Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure timely deliveries
 - Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
 
Administrative Support:
- Utilize Shopify and Quickbooks software to process orders
 - 
Answer phones and interface with customers as needed, helping with order pickups or relaying messages for office support staff
 
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
 - Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
 - Basic computer skills; familiarity with Shopify is a plus
 - Strong communicator
 - Detail-oriented with a passion for coffee
 - Previous experience in a coffee roastery or similar environment is preferred but not required

Compensation:
