Our coffee comes in full 16 oz pounds, a rare thing when most are sold in smaller 12 oz bags. In a time of rising costs, we believe local coffee should remain accessible to the community.

We have been roasting coffee in the Bywater of New Orleans using vintage machines cared for across generations. Our staff learned their craft from those before them.

Try-Me Coffee has been passed down through members of the New Orleans community for 100 years. Our roasting staff has been with us for over 30 years, and we remain independently owned and managed by residents of the Ninth Ward.

How to Get Your Pound of Try-Me Coffee
Step 1
Order Online
To begin, simply pre-order your coffee online. From there, we roast your coffee to order, honoring the craft and bringing out the fullness of every bean.
Step 2
Roasted in 24-hours or less
Place your order and we’ll roast it within one business day (Mon–Fri). Always fresh, always local.
Step 3
Receive your Coffee
At checkout, you’ll select how to receive your coffee beans:
- Local Pickup at our community roaster in the Bywater.
- Local Delivery for qualifying neighborhoods.
